How often should i call this job?

Im 16 and i applied for a job. a fast food resturant to be specific.
the manager said that he would call me and also said i shouldnt worry.
i got impatient and decided to call.. and its been a week.
and he said hell call me when he gets the time? its been 2 weeks?
what should i do? ....call again?

Yeah, definitely call again. Places like that are so busy and crazy, they probably forgot about you. You need to be really self-assured (but not annoying). |

If it's been a two week you could just either "take the hint" or be bold and go see them in person. In any case you should do so very very soon. If this job means something to you, then act like it. Go down, get your answer and shake their hand. I bet they'll remember you when the other "new guy" doesn't work out. Tell them you weren't getting a very direct answer and you need to know. That's all. |
