How much does a paper route pay?
I llive in Milton, Ontario and for my paper route will be doing 150-250 houses a day for 6 days a week. how much could i make a month. My bro said around $600 a month, is that appropriate.

Depends on what they pay you per paper - back in 1970's - papers cost 15 cents and I got 3-4 cents per paper to deliver them (plus tips) |

Hmm, well newspapers, depending on what kind of route and what type of paper ranges differently. Some, like the everyday paper that is given to neighborhoods usually pay at least 8 cents a paper. Ones where you have to find a specific house in a neighborhood would probably be 16 to 20 cents per paper. So yeah, basically it would probably come up to a range of $600 or more. |
