How long does it take to hear back from a job after you submitted your application?

I applied to 3 different CVS's, Kmart, and Borders. I plan to apply to a lot more places, but so far those are the ones I applied to yesterday.
How long do you think it will take to hear back from them?

It could take a few days to a few weeks. I applied to a grocery store and heard back in a little over a month. |

Did u apply in person or online . this depends on how long it will take for u to get a call back |

It's a good idea to wait a couple of weeks and then call yourself, talk to the manager or the person who gave you the interview so that they know you are interested in the position |
