How hard would it be getting a job in North Dakota?

The unemployment rate is at 3%... so i guess that one could say that the economy really hasnt hit them compared to california where i live. I plan to move there in December or so... how could i find a job there? Any help? Thank you.

Brundo	There are plenty of jobs here, there's always work to be found in restaurant chains, food distribution, and media places since that's all you can really do in the winter. Hope this helps
Dan S	Well, what I was told by someone who's from there is that a lot of jobs disappear in winter because it's too cold to do much outside. So the guys all hang out at the tavern and wait til it thaws out. But if you're not planning to work outside it probably wouldn't matter.
dakotalover	It depends on what kind of job you are looking for... could you be a little more specific? I live here and we need workers -- low unemployment isn't all that fun, either. 1) Professional? Blue collar? Construction? Service sector? 2) Rural or city? 3) Do you have to do what you have most recently been doing, or would you be looking for a career change? 4) Are you prepared for the winters? They aren't really as scary as people think, but it is a definite consideration when moving here. 5) Are you financially able to make the move, ie, you have savings to get housing etc?
