I don't really have a car, and I don't think driving around looking for help wanted signs is the most efficient way. I try online job search, but lot of them are scams. So how is it you look for a job?

Post resumes on Monster, search on job sites and sections like craigslist, careerbuilder, or snag a job and fill out applications that interest you.

Find a local one go online and apply and go in store to apply or call and ask if they are hiring.

What I did was Google a bunch of business near my home and found their numbers using Google maps or their sites and I called and directly asked if they are hiring and what age do they hire at.

Try local grocery stores, pizza parlors, retail stores, fast food restaurants.

Check out LinkedIn.com it has many postings out there but sometimes it can be difficult to find them with all of the other options in the online community. Check out the post below and it should help quite a bit.
