Without that information, all I can tell you is what happens in most states:

Most states give you 26 weeks of UI benefits. (Actually, you get a year, but if you claim the maximum amount weekly, it's only good for 26 weeks. It will last up to a year if you get a part-time job and only claim half your weekly benefits.) Anything after that is Federal.

Following is the schedule of payments for most people (remember, if you had part-time work during your regular OR Federal UI claims, the time frames may be extended):

Regular state funded UI: 26 weeks

Tier I: 20 weeks

Tier II: 14 weeks

Tier III: 13 weeks

Tier IV: 6 weeks

However, currently, they only expect these benefits to be available through December 31, 2010. You'll need to get a calendar to find out how long you'll be able to claim.

Some states require that you contact them to get the Federal benefits. Some (such as CA) automatically give you the extensions. Some states require paper filings, some allow on-line filing. Without knowing your state, all I can tell you is to call your state's UI dept and ask if you need to do anything to get extensions.

Every state has their own Unemployment Insurance benefit regulations, so you should call the office that administers them where you live and ask what you are entitled to. In general, if you are eligible for benefits now, and if an extension was given that you qualify for you would be eligible.
