How can you stand the wait after an interview?!?

Category: Other

I applied for a job that I'm actually overqualified for, all it takes is someone with more experience to also apply or for someone with more charisma than me to apply and then I don't get the position.

The person who interviewed me said they'd call by Sunday, but since it's a holiday weekend, it looks like I'll be waiting until Tuesday, I'm definitely doing a follow up call on Tuesday since the interview was last Tuesday.

But how can you stand the wait?! Days seem to go by so much slower! Waiting is terrible, what do you do to keep your mind off of the job, the interview and when you'll know if you got the job or not!

I originally applied for a lesser paying job, and then they called me back for a higher paying job, so I want this other job they called me in for a whole lot more than the first. I'm so nervous, what do I do! Other than wait of course.

The only way is to keep applying at other places. So you wonder who will call rather than "whether" they will call.

Another good way is to volunteer to help someone who is sick or injured. That takes your mind off your problem.
