How can i stop my boss from messing with my personal life..?

I was in his office last week and we use AIM at work. I also have it at home and i work from 8am-5pm monday through friday.. I was having a kick-back at my house and i also have AIM on my phone.. So we were out on my patio 11pm at night, me and my girl and my bestfriend and his girl, he sends me a message at 12mid-night saying, ARE YOU STILL UP?? I looked at my phone and said umm yeah do you need something. He texts back, UMM ARENT YOU SUPPOSED TO BE IN BED?? I was like whatever and didnt text him back.. When i got to work and i was on time coming in at 7:50am at my desk on my computer, 10 minutes before work 8am, he calls me into the office and is writing me up because he said that i was up late but this is on MY PERSONAL TIME OFF. Can he do this?? Help!

Write you up for what?? As long as you're at work on time and doing your job, he there is no reason to write you up. Besides, he was up late too. Should he be written up as well? |
