How can an inexperienced 19 year old woman find work as a cowgirl/ranch hand?

Ever since I was a kid, I've dreamt of working on a farm as a cowgirl/ranch hand. Everything from working with the horses and cattle to the hard labor of irrigation, fences, and even cleaning out stalls and feeding. I'm 19 years old, and am ready to go out and do what I've always wanted to do. Up till the last year, I lived in an area with no farms whatsoever. Now, I live out in Snoqualmie, and have had the chance to see some farms at work. It's only made my passion grow even more. I'm willing to travel wherever there is a farm willing to hire me. The problem is, I have no experience. I have a huge passion for horses, and rode a lot when I was younger. Besides that, I don't know how to work machinery, or little else. I have the motivation to learn and be just as good as someone who was raised with the work. But... I'm not sure how to get started. If anyone has any clues or ideas on how to get experience, I'd be glad. I'm even willing to volunteer on some of the farms near my home. I'm just... not sure how to go about it.

Approach the local farms and ask !

Well, go out and ask some ranchers if they need any help. Its not the 1800's anymore when half of the population were ranchhands. You use to get paid a dollar a day plus room and board. That was the standard back in the day
