Home Depot background check and drug test follow up?

I went in for a interview 1 pm on friday the 28th (which was memorial day weekend) and could not go within 24 hrs because the clinic closed by 5 pm that friday and did not reopen till tuesday (because of memorial day) I went in that tuesday morning for my drug test...I dont do drugs so I know I passed.I havent heard from Home Depot yet...I know it takes around 48 hrs for them to get drug test results back and background check could take 2-3 days.(which I would expect by last friday they would have everything) it is now monday morning....maybe just dont call on weekends?how much longer should I wait before calling to check on this?

That would have taken care of the policy issue regarding the validity of the drug test. If Home Depot knows that the test couldn't be done because the clinic was closed, then you have no problem.

It might be a good idea to follow up today to be sure they have everything they need, and ask for an update so you can begin to clear your schedule for work.

You should really call and explain why you didn't go within 24 hours of the drug test. You should have went after the interview friday. When I had my drug test with them it was stressed heavily that I must go w/in 24 hours or it's invalid. You should have called and explained before, do it asap.
