I'm an Apprentice Plumber for two years. Say things like 'I'm a reliable person and the trade has always interested me, I believe that plumbing can lead to many opportunities in long term. I am suited to the job because I am a willing to learn and can use my initiative. Ahhh something like that mate (; Dont be afraid to get abit dirty though, always offer to get the teas first, dont try and conrol the van radio until you're settled and never fall for the old 'Glass hammer' 'Tartan paint' 'Sky Hook' 'Skirting Ladder' 'Long Weight'.....etc etc... |

Think about the reason you want to become a plumber and let them know what it is. Make it clear that you want a long term career in plumbing (so they know you are not going to drop out). The most important thing at an interview is to show that you are keen. |
