Help in career and travelling? Much appreciated. :)?

Okay, so here's my problem.
I want to spend my of my life travelling. Like, America, Canada, India, Africa, Dubai, Thailand, China, Japan... The usual. Now I completely understand I can't do this all my life, however much I'd like to. But this isn't the problem. The problem I have is the fact that until a couple of months ago, I wanted to be a midwife.
Midwifery is a great career, and something really worthwhile. As well as this, I wanted to settle down, get married and have kids. (I also live in England, in the country.)
However, now I have this idea of travelling, and I just can't imagine coming back to rural England and doing this kind of work. Or getting married and having kids.
So what I'm looking for is someone to maybe suggest a really exciting and unusual career that could maybe involve travelling and such. Or just something a bit different. By different, I don't mean like, conferencing or whatever, I mean DIFFERENT. :) Any ideas, or help would be seriously appreciated.
