I do landscaping at retirement home and i am only 16 and i feel like they expect every thing from me. my direct duties are to water plants, pick weeds sweep curbs and pick trash. now the building is pretty big and the out side is bigger. i work 7-230 every day outside all the time. now i feel very rundown and stressed cause my co-workers are much older and have experience they always nag me that i will forget something or not meet there high standards. i have been complaining at home and my grand mom says to just put my leave notice and be done with it. but if i do that i feel my co Workers will look down on me for the 7 days after and put me through more hell so idk wat should i do

You need to stand up for yourself if they are your co-workers than they are on the same level as you and older that means you are young and just as good as them dont stress just look at them and be like did you forget that you already told me and tell them that they need to do what they are suppose to do and to stay out of what you are doing. ps dont tell your boss or co boss that but if they are the same level it doesnt matter as long as you are doing what your boss says. I had to tell off a lady who was 25 years or older than me and had worked there longer. she had more respect towards me. good luck dont stress just tell them what you think let me know how it works out

Well either you deal with the horrible nagging for 7 days, or you deal with the nagging for who knows how long! and jobs are pretty hard to get, so if the nagging isnt that bad, i would stick with the job. if it is really bad, get the hell out of there! :) hope i helped

An unwritten rule of working is that you never leave a job before you find another.

By the way, you're going to have it tough when you work anywhere as other people are always going to have more experience than you (there will always be someone).

Have you ever considered that your co-workers are just messing with you? Also, who cares what they say? If they're not your boss, don't mind them.

If you're this unhappy, try to find a new job first. If you cannot, put in your notice (though most often its two weeks, not one week) and be done. I guarantee your co-workers will not put you through hell if you say they don't want you around anyway.

If you quit, know that will follow you for your next job. And what are your reasons for quitting? Nagging? Oh please. Do the job or quit. If you quit without notice your employer will give you a bad recommendation. You should give 2 weeks, not 7 days

I think that perhaps these other people are trying to help you do a better job...not nag. Regardless of what you do...quit complaining. Quit the job or stay...just don't complain.
