Well I'm assuming your not trying to be a gangster like those high school "try hards" are. They usually lean up against things, suck at school and play loud rap music even though they don't know how to rap themselves. They are basically just posers.

If you mean gangster as in a real criminal then you don't know what thats all about. Gangster's are usually into illegal drugs. This means both dealing and using them. These drugs can make bad situations worse when your under the influence.

Gangsters usually have to do something as initiation. This usually involves theft, vandelism or in extreme cases it can lead to murdering someone. If you want to be so powerful you would most likely want to get into a group that has an extreme initiation.

Gangsters have a sick and selfish lifestyle. Most of them live in poverty ridden parts of the city and are total messes. They are stupid drunks and drug addicts and when they get older, they find their way into jail. The few gang leaders that actually have a lot of power and followers are usually being shot at or hurting others.

Being a gangster isn't just cruising around with an awesome crew in a cool car. Its giving up everything you have and love including life for a title and a place to belong. If you are confident enough in yourself, you don't need a definite place to belong. If you want to love and be loved then you don't want to have people obey you hand on foot and fear you. Be happy with your life. If you want to seem more in control and agressive then join a sport like kickboxing, martial arts, fencing, etc to refine your fighting skills and have competitions against others.

It sounds to me like you want to be this tough street gangster but in real life, you just sound like a sad insecure guy looking for a place to belong and some respect without actually working for it. Take a good long look in the mirror and choose to be yourself and not part of some gang. :]

The best training for life as a thug is jail. I'd recommend you go do some petty crime in an incompetent manner and get arrested. Don't do anything seriously criminal, maybe try out property crime or fraud, that way you'll be only in for a short while. Plead innocent and use an overworked public defender. Refuse all reasonable plea bargains - you want jail time. At your sentencing, act violent, crazy, and disagreeable. That way the judge will send you to one of the harder prisons where you can get higher quality training.

While in jail get an ugly tattoo for some cigarettes.
