Out of the three choices. email, snail mail, fax.

obviously i wont do fax. possibly do both mail and snail mail?

i know the concern would be that i'm not keeping up with the times. but i'm 21 years old and obviously technology up to date. at least for basic internet. so hopefully the company doesnt think that

It depends what type of job you're applying for. If it's a customer service job with a retail store or restaurant you should drop it off in person. If it's a software job or large corporation you should email them.

I remember at my old company there were always random resumes piling up by the fax machine. They never made it to prospective hiring managers. I don't know what industry would want a fax. Possibly legal or financial.

Mailing, not sure about that. Thing is, you just don't want to seem desperate. Most industries have migrated to looking for employees online, so if you start mailing resumes they may look down on you.

Snail Mail for business is usually a no. I would (and have) done both e-mail and fax. Fax is used heavily in corporate America. The reason for sending both is that it is very hard to loose two of the same document. At some point in time both will come to the same department and you will look eager and and making sure your resume is not overlooked is a must. Hope this helped ya.
