Getting a job for a short time?

I'm a high school student and I wanted to get a job over the summer. Unfortunately, my family is planning a trip for 1 month during summer so I can't work a whole lot. I'm in a process of looking for job and I was wondering if there are jobs that will hire for only 1 month? If not, should I say I'm going to work for longer and then tell them things came up and I cant anymore just before the trip?

I think that depends i got an application for Wendy's and it said Summer and temporary on there so i'm guessing you could depending on the place of employment
