Follow up On a Job Interview?

I was interviewed on Wednesday, March 17 and I've been waiting for a follow up. The employer told me they would start training in two weeks and then they would let the people know who was hired. I havn't heard from the employer since Wednesday, should I call and leave a msg asking about my position or should I wait?

Don't wait for their call! YOU HAVE TO MAKE THINGS HAPPEN IN LIFE! HOW ELSE ARE YOU GOING TO GET WHAT YOU WANT???

Always follow-up after a job interview, Lets say theres 2 applicants, both interviewed , manager says they will let them know a week later. 1 applicant stays silent, the other calls friendly and eager asking the manager how the decision-process if going, Im very interested in this job. Who do you think they are going to hire?

Call them and tell the manager, '' Hi my name is _____ I interviewed with you on Wednesday and I was calling to follow-up wondering how the decison-process is going, and if decisions been made yet. Im very interested in this job.

I would send a thank you for seeing me note and remind them you are still excited about the opportunity and awaiting their call.
