First interview on Friday, I have some questions?

So I am 18 and just graduated from high school. I have a interview on Friday morning as a office assistant at a health care agency. I did not fill out a application, just responded to a craigslist post and the lady told me to come in Friday at 10 am. Of course I am nervous and have questions. First off, can I just wear dress pants, a dress shirt and shoes? Must I wear a tie? Also, my resume that I made a few weeks ago is VERY basic because I have never had a job. Do you recomend I bring it? It is kind of embarrasing. It has education, skills, hobbies and a job I did mowing a neighbors lawn. Should I keep that at home? any suggestions as to what I should bring and when to show up?
Anything will help and I would really appreciate it.

Wear dress pants and a nice button down - you can skip the tie if you want, or wear it if the office is upscale. Bring the resume and have it handy in case you are asked for one. If you are asked, tell them it's bare bcz you are just getting started in the workforce....keep it simple. Good luck |
