I am writing a paper and i need Information about firefighters salary like when they get paid and an average pay rate. Do they get paid biweekly weekely or monthly?

Pay scale for 75% of all firefighters in the nation is zero. the vast majority are all volunteers and are not paid staff. the places you would tend to see paid staff are going to be more in the major metro areas, and even then many are mixed departments. for paid staff it will vary drastically from place to place.

Again, it all depends on the company, location, call volume, etc. SanDiego does things differently than Houston, which is different from NYC/FDNY. i would suggest you call a few paid companies and ask them....

I'd call up your local fire department and ask. The issue with the average pay rate is that there are a lot of factors such as what kind of area is it in and how much experience? Then what kind of education they have. A New York firefighter makes more than a firefighter in the middle of nowhere. I don't think anyone pays monthly (but possible depending on how they run shifts) but they would probably be paid either weekly or biweekly.

You can look up BLS.gov if you're in the USA for some stats.
