England Job Search Help?
I'm thinking about relocating to the from US to England. FYI-This is not just a frivolous idea. I have been thinking about this a long time and am working on some through research.
My question is if there are agents or agencies either here or in England that assist in job search for people in my position.
Thanks a bunch-and any other helpful tips/links are appreciated.

The amount of help you will receive really depends on how "in demand" you are. Like the US, the UK sets forth all sorts of hurdles for employers who hire foreign nationals. So, if you have a degree in chemical engineering it might be worth it for a company to bring you on. However, probably not if you just have a HS education since they can just as easily hire an English born employee and avoid all the hassles. I suggest you take a serious look at your skill set and apply for jobs based on what you are qualified to do. Just search sites like http://www.international-job-search.com/ and you will see what kind of jobs are available to expats. Good luck. |
