Does everyone need a cover letter?

I have already applied for a job, and now have an interview. They asked that I bring my resume and 3 references. Being that I already have the interview set up, do I still need a cover letter?

If you already have the interview, a cover letter is no longer necessary. In the future, provide a cover letter for all jobs where you have a chance to match your experience with the employers requirements. Add a few short sentences that you feel distinguish yourself from the other job applicants. |
