Does anyone have advice on job searching?

I need to find a job asap. I've really only worked at one place in my life, for three years. They fired me a few months ago. Anyway, I really not sure how to go about finding a different job. Any advice would be helpful

I find the best way is to research which companies you would like to work for, making an outstanding resume and personally deliver it to them.

Get the name of the person the resume will be given to and then follow up with a phone call about 1 week later to confirm they got it and to let them know how interested you are in a potential opportunity to work their.

If you make an amazing resume like I suggest, you will have already given them a pre-interview and intro to yourself before you even meet.

These days, so many things are done on-line that by doing the good old tried and true personal effort can really make the difference.

If you like to get more tips on how to increase your chances of getting a job, how to write a resume as well as how to create an awesome Door Opening resume, please check my site out below.

Best of luck with your search.

Annette :)

I would suggest using job search engines like SimplyHired.com (www.simplyhired.com) or Indeed.com (www.indeed.com). Both search engines index jobs from all over the web, so it's a one-stop-shop for job seekers. You'll find jobs from job boards, employers, non-profit agencies, government, and recruitment agencies.

Best of luck in your job search!
