In most states it is a matter of POLICY but in a very few states it is mandated by law that you receive the accrued vacation at separation.......

edit the question to include where you are to get an answer concerning what the law requires BUT in almost every state it is going to be a matter of the company's policies.

Get your vacation and then quit. If you quit you're not going to get vacation pay you're going to get unemployment checks.

You should get paid for it when you leave. Check your employee manual to be sure. If you earned it, you should get it.

Of course you are not elligible for unemployment - you are quiting. You don't get unemployment when you quit (no matter how old you are).

You should check with HR or read up on it at your work.depending on your job if they offer it and your eligible to receive it they will pay out the amount of hours you have accumulated.If your not sure I'd take the vacation before quitting it gives you those days to look for another job if that's what you want. so pretty much you'll be paying yourself to find a job hope this help:)

I quite once and got my vacation pay I live in Florida. It depends on your state law or your company policy you should ask your job HR dept. If you don't want them to think you might quite then if have the option call corporate but don't tell them who you are.
