Choosing a career, need help.?

Bare with me, might seem a little long but I really need some insight, and help from other people :).
Hi, I am currently a 17 years old High school senior, and when it comes to choosing a career I get somewhat confused at times, due the fact that my parents wants me to go into the health line(nurse, doctor e.t.c). Even though I do love helping people, but that just really isn't my thing, I am not into all that medical things, I want to do something I am going to be happy with in the future and always look forward to everyday I wake up.
My question is- is there any career/occupation out there that has to do with art-photography and music?( at the same time if possible). I've always known I love listening to music, not necessarily hip hop and such but something that keeps you in peace,and gives you time to stop and think about things, and I've always admired beautiful paintings,pictures and art works. I remember literally spending 5 hours on a website just sitting there in awe, staring at art work of other people, and also watching some creative videos.
So I would really appreciate it if anyone would at least give me a helping hand with this, I really have no one else to ask, given the fact that we're on holiday, and before we resume I want to get my head straight and know where I want to go. All answers are appreciated, Thx a lot in advance :)

When you were watching the art for 5 hours did you pay for any of it? I will send you some free digital art because no one is buying it and I can't make any money from it.
