I am completing an application form and it says that "the person appointed must have the ability to deal with the public in an open and professional manner". I can think of loads of times when I have given excellent customer service but not exactly this - please help!

Think about when you provided customer service, with the following qualifications - it should be easier to think of when you list them out:

-You were helping a person or a group of people

-You had to give them specific information that was important to them

-You were honest about the information that you gave, and gave it to the fullest extent of your knowledge

-You conveyed the information without a particular slant one way or the other

-You maintained professional attitude/appearance/mannerisms/tone

That may help you to pinpoint the type of situation that they are asking for!
