You must give a notice when you leave. You must state clearly the reason why you are leaving. In this case, the reason you will give is that the work has not started two months since you have joined the company, and therefore you are leaving the company. This is a valid reason, and you can give the notice and leave to take a better job. So, you are always welcome to leave in the probationary period AFTER giving your reason.

The best answer is to just stop showing up, don't tell them anything just stop going. Eventually they will catch on. You might be able to get a few days pay for the time you decide not to go. Just make sure you show up a few days later to pick up your address book.

In probationary period you are allowed to give 24 hours notice and leave. Why do you want to spoil your record at HCL by leaving without notice. Moreover, you should collect your salary for the days you have worked there and also a Leaving Certificate for record purpose.
