Hi!

I'm 16, nearly 17, and I would really like a job for the summer and maybe the school year. I'm homeschooled, so I could work in the morning.

What are the best jobs for teens my age?

What companies are most open to teen workers?

Starbucks, mall stores, kroger, claires and places like that. find a place you really like to go and see if there willing to hire. good luck. =)

My son had a lot of activities that got in the way of a regular part time job. He wanted more freedom. so he got out the old lawn mower.

He called it his "wet-back" job. some of his snotty friends teased him a little...until they found that he worked an average of 20 hours a week and earned about $325-$350 a week.

And this was 14 years ago. I kind of expect that prices have gone up a little bit since then.

I could show you 4 people right now looking for someone to take care of their lawn. 2 within 100 yards of my house and 2 more within 5 blocks. Work is never hard to find if you do a good job.
