Background check question?

I applied at Walmart and had 2 interviews recently, they were waiting for my background check and reference check to clear before calling me in for the 3rd interview + drug test, I just got a letter from the company who did the background check, stating that I was cleared and had no offenses against me. I'm just wondering, should I call Walmart or wait a little bit longer so I don't seem impatient just in case they haven't gotten to my reference check yet?
