So I have applied to many places and I heard that it's good to go in and actually ask for an interview. How can I do that without sounding to aggressive?

Depends on what kind of place you are applying to. If it's a store in the mall, just be polite but keep stopping in to ask the manager every week or so if they have filled their position.

If it's a professional job, go with "I'd love to sit down and speak with you about my qualifications. I think I'd be a good fit at <whatever the company name is>."
