As a teen would I make more with a waitressing job or salaried job?

^ Basically what the title says. I'm 17 and I'm trying to decide between a waitressing job and a 7.25 an hour job. Which one do you think I would make more money on? The waitressing job would be at a pizzeria. The salaried job would be at starbucks/grocery store. Please help!

It depends. Is it a busy pizzeria? Are the common customers generous people (As in, tip the supposedly 15% tips)? If not, then go with the salary. |

If it is a busy pizzeria you stand to make more than 7.25, but if it is kind of slow, you might end up making less. If the Pizza place serves beer, your probably better off there. |

Honestly from personal experience I made quite a bit at a waitress job than a salaried job but it depends on how crowded the place you are going to be a waitress at if its crowded a lot you will make more if its not than you will make less. |

It depends are they both just minimum wadge? Because if they are then you'd probably make more waitressing because of tips. But you should also think about which place you'd enjoy working at more. |

You would have to check on the waitressing job sometimes the employees split the tips at the end of the shift. If they don't it would mostly be on how well you do your job. Also, I know of some people because of the economy being as it is, don't tip or don't tip much. You might get tips at Starbucks too. I have seen tip jars set out. But don't know who gets that. |
