Are paid online survey's a scam?

Category: Other

I think they must be because they offer you anywhere from $5 -300 for each survey you take. If this were true why havent you heard anyone doing it? Everyone would be doing it. They all seem to want you to spend $30- 100 to buy a membership to take the survey. That right there tells me its a scam. You should not have to pay to make money. Anyone know of any positive experience doing this

Some are scams, some aren't. If you are looking for a way to earn a few extra bucks online, do what I do (lol thats cheesy) I earn money through ChaCha in my spare time online, from home of course. You pick when you work and its fast paced, random, and totally funny.

Go to http://becomeaguide.chacha.com/ to sign up, its totally free to try out. you definitely won't become a millionaire but you'll make some extra cash for food and gas and stuff. If you do decide to sign up please put my email as a referral: chachafornow@yahoo.com

What it is: Basically people from all over the country (and a couple of Canadians) text in their random questions (to 242242) or call 1800-224-2242, they'll ask all kinds of things from "what time is it in Tokyo?" to "Why does my llama run like a dolphin?" anyway if you work for them, you're on the other end, answering these questions.

I like it because you can work whenever you want, you can earn as little or as much as you want, from home, its great too because you can learn random facts about everything. Plus they always have contests going on so you can make extra without doing anything extra. anyway even if you don't want to work for ChaCha you can still text them with random questions for free!

Any survey site with a fee is a scam.

There are a few legit (free) ones but they pay very little (ie. $10-$25 after 6 months or longer).

I dont know what area you are in, but for me i do surveys all the time in person, and now they have online services so i know they are real.

But i have done a bunch of surveys where i try products, talk about it in a group for a hour and get paid, sometimes they have online ones where they ask you to try a product, send you a webcam for free and pay you after you talk about the product. It is awesome.

As a stay at home mom it is a great way to make extra cash for me.

I am in california.

As for the random ones online, if they make you pay, it most likely is a scam, why would they want you to pay to help them out with a survey, id say dont do those ones.

If you are in California i posted some links on sites that i do.

Even if you arent in California, you can probably see if that company is in your area as well. You sign up on these and answer a few questions and if a study comes up and they need someone in your age range and your sex, and ect, they will call you.

]Hope this helps

A lot of them are. the ones that ask you to pay some kind of fee definitely are. And the ones are the legit, you couldn't possibly make a living (or get a little extra spending money for that matter) You'll make like a dollar and change a month or something like that, if you're lucky.

I've tried just about every site out there and the best site that have actually paid me is,

http://tu.nu/ZB7y

I've already made $1200+ in cash & prizes without spending a penny.

*******US, UK, & CANADA ONLY*******

Its free to join, they don't ask for your social security number, and you don't need a credit card like most other sites. You don't need to refer a single person in order to receive any of your prizes/payments. And most importantly, it's not a SCAM and I can prove it. But you can get paid by check, you can have the money sent instantly to your PayPal account ($1 min.), E-Gold account, Alert account, Liberty Reserve account, or you can spend your points that you earn to buy anything you want on Amazon.

A few ways that you can earn points by completing offers, surveys, playing games or referring other people. But most of the offers are quick, very easy to do, and 100% Free.

*******VERY IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ*******

Your account will be blocked if you create multiple accounts or if you sign-in on another ip address. All of your Cash & Points earned will be lost.

STEPS FOR SIGNING UP

1. Copy/Paste http://tu.nu/ZB7y

2. Click on the banner that says, "It's Fun and Free Sign Up."

3. Fill out the information with your valid name/address/email etc. (So that way they know where & who to ship your prizes/payments. Once you're done they'll send you an email that you'll need to confirm in order to participate.

4. Don't forget, you get 250 points for free!!! Use that 250 points to order the "Dollar Prize" for 144 points. This will verify your account and take you to the bronze level. Also, you should at least try one offer to show you that it really works!

*****PROOF OF PAYMENTS*****

Many online survey panel sites are scams just to get your information to sell to third parties. In addition, most sites that require payment to join are usually scams. Please remember that if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is a scam. It seems that the standard compensation is $2 for a 20 minutes survey. The incentive may reach up to $10 for 60 minutes survey, and $50 for focus group which you may qualify once or twice a year! However, small things count and online paid surveys can be a side activity that generates a steady income of more than $200 from the comfort of you home if you can commit at least 40 hours per month. I have been a member of several top online survey panels for more than 2 years. For more information, check my website at:
