A person who works in my department lies too much about me and others for his own benefits in front of my director and hr people. He is fully controlling my director. This stupid director is very timid. I don't know what this guy told to my director he blindly believes him even though it is not good for the director. Both are from Jordan country. He is not technically as good as my colleagues and me. This guy also made friendship with a personnel manager and he is increasing his salary as he wants. There is no interference of the director. I was holding the guy's position before. When the director joined my company 2 years ago he gave my position to him. I did not know that it was the guy's decision. I trusted my director and thought he was telling for the benefit of the department. But any thing that is good for me or for my colleagues the guy is interfering and showing as if the director has taken the decision. How to fix this idiot?

If this job means that much to you, you will have to work day and night to figure a way to get one up on him. I don't know what it is you do, but you will have to prove to the director that you are better by example not by lies. I worked under a manager that black balled me to his boss. When he moved on to another district, everything changed and his boss asked me why my job performance was great? I shrud my shoulders, and he said it was your ex boss, and I just look at him and he said that is all I need to know. Sometimes the bosses will figure out the problem people sometimes not. It is a very difficult situation to be in this political arena. Good luck to you, if it don't work out maybe a data entry business would work for you., Data entry is a huge business. You can help the government where all your asked to do is input 10 plates per month, should take about 10-15 minutes. With that you tell others about the opportunity and get a residual income from it. You would be placed in a position that would make you successful. If you want more info msg. me. |
