I'm not sure if there are laws against leaving people under the age of 18 in charge of a commercial property.

However, if you feel you could manage the store and know all the procedures well enough, why not? Ask your boss to make clear guidelines in writing and agree with them exactly what is expected and what other duties are involved. Also, will they be paying you extra per hour for working sundas? double time maybe? :)

If I were you, I'd get someone to back you up, as in a secondary manager. That way, if you feel you need help, they can be there for you.

If not:

I'd give it a go, if you work there by yourself and find it is too much, you can simply back out again.

Even m an 17 yo and i have managed quite shops on my own .. what u have to do is to 'KNOW' what is right and what is wrong .. u will be blamed for mistakes and irresponsible behavior ( have suffered this myself) but u will be awarded if nothing goes wrong and I will recommend to keep emergency no. on top of speed dial and to keep ur phone always turned ON .... jus be cool and stay calm if anything goes wrong, dun worry, keep confidence in urself

Dont get stuck in retail. Get like 1 year experience and get into something else.

Thats great experience your getting, but retail never pays enough for those responsibilities.
