What does "With or Without A Following" mean in ads for jobs?

Ok, so I was looking at lists of available jobs and I came across a few (including some jobs at nail salons) and they keep saying the phrase "...with or without a following." I know that means there's usually supposed to be something FOLLOWING the phrase, but they don't write anything "following" it! Does this phrase mean something else when they're talking about jobs?

The phrase means that you may or may not have clients who will follow you to the new location. If you have clients who love your work and would be willing to switch to the new location with you, you have a following. If you do not have any such clients, you are without a following. |
