What are some nice retail jobs and where can I go for an IT Internship?

I'm about to graduate in June from Itt-Technical Institute with an Associates Degree in Computer Networking. Sadly I'm not too confident in my skills in the field, so I'd like to find an Internship or some sort of job in the IT field that would give extensive training. I heard that some places will do this and when you're finished you'll even be certified in some fields.
If I can't find an IT job right away then I'd like to find a full-time retail job. I have worked at Sears for 6-years now and only make minimum wage due to their lack of business. I was wondering if anyone knew of some good places to apply that would be nice to work at, pay decent, and offer full benefits. I'd like at least $9 an hour, which seems like a good amount considering my experience in retail.
