Besides the obvious of trying to make more money, you could take the initiative and offer your services as a trainer. I have read that one of the ways to make yourself more valuable to a company is to become a good trainer. It also might be a nice break from the sales thing. Also you could always suggest any ideas to better the company to your superior. Don't get too upset if they smile and never listen to you, I think that is fairly common. If you are successful and teach other people your skills, the company will think you are even more valuable. You could be a key player in taking the organization to the next level. Good luck. |
