Read the fine print. The $15.25 is "base pay". No honest company has ever used those words when hiring. It doesn't mean you will get $15.25 an hour. It is a teaser to catch your attention.

You must buy a demo set of knives for $145. That is the heart of the scam. You applied for a job and you became a customer.

It is a scam - they sell knives door to door.

The only sales they make is on thier marketing kits.

Don't even bother going to the interview, it will be a giant group interview where they will tell you how selling knives (overpriced knives) door to door will change your life! All you have to do is drop $900 on a sales kit.

Well just like you i need a full time summer job and i found Vector Marketing on an online job search and the pay just looked unbelievable, so i had to apply. so no less than 30 minutes ago i applied and it said that i would have to call an make an appointment to have an interview. I went around looking at the site and found nothing about the company. so i came on trusty yahoo answers to find out about the company, and it is a SCAM. I read these two answers and it convinced me that i cannot call them back because its a big fat rip off.

this company basically targets college students who need to make a quick buck. i suggest that you dont take this "job" opportunity. It doesnt seem legit. I hope this helps, because finding those answers sure did help me
