First do part time workers get paid time and a half and second is July 5th one of the holidays that you are supposed to get paid time and a half on?

That depends on your company. There isn't a federal mandate requiring time and a half for working on a holiday, even Christmas or New Year's Day. The reason companies do it is to encourage people to work when they are needed. |

You only get paid time and a half for ANY holidays if your employer decides to pay time and a half - there's no law requiring extra pay for holidays. |

It is double time. since you would get your holiday pay anyway. if you work on a holiday you should get your holiday pay plus the hours you worked, |
