What are the legal steps to getting a paycheck?

I had quit my last job due to the owner cursing me out and now they are refusing to give me my last paycheck.Is there anyother legal steps i can take? I have called the labor and wage division and they will not give me any answers. I would also like to know is there any legal steps as far as a hostile work environment? Due to my former employer cursing me he would also throw things and kick down doors and accuse several of the employees of steeling with out going back on the video tapes.

File a wage claim, in most states you can do so on-line.........

cursing, yelling, throwing things etcetera does NOT constitute a hostile work environment unless these actions are based solely on you being a part of a protected group.....

You can report him if you lost your cool, or don't like the work conditions. If he is breaking the law, you can call the police and write a report.

He might want you gone, so, hang I there and get a check. It might not be from him, but it could come from a law suit such as unfair working conditions and shame and embarrassment, and just being wrong.

Small claims court or ask a lawyer to write a demand letter.
