What are the legal EU requirements for daylight / window in an office?

I work in an office 8 hours a day, 5 days a week using a computer, with 7 people, and to be honest, it is rather cramped.(estimation 4x4meters) we do not have a window and the only time we see daylight is on our lunch break (less than 40mins). Me, and some other colleagues feel tired and our eyes are constantly sore. I believe it is due to the lack of natural light, and would appreciate if someone could shed some light (excuse the pun) on this! is it legal???
