The job i got fired from is deliberatly lying to unemployment!!!?

I got fired, and when i got fired i signed a termination paper!, i asked for a copy of the paper, and they claimed they couldnt give it to me. so i applied for unemployment, and employment said i do qualify, but my previous job said i "voluntarly quit"....they then told me i have 48 hours to get the copy of that paper i signed, how do i get that paper! there must be a legal way!!! i live in pennsylvania, and the company is cracker barrel

Did you read the termination paper? it may very well say you quit and you signed it, as far as a copy once you leave the employer the only way to get a copy is a court order |

You don't have to get the paper.. it's unemployment's responsibility to request proof that you voluntarily quit and it's the ex-employer's responsibility to prove it.. you need to call back and speak w/a supervisor. How can you obtain a document that you claim to have never signed.. good luck.. |
