Should I admit to driving without a license on security clearance form?
Hi Guys,
I have got a job offer, I am now filling out a security check form and its asking if I have ever commited an offence. I did get convicted for driving without a license and insurance 7 years ago when I was young and silly. Should I admit to it on the form. I am worried I might lose my dream job. Help guys

My personal opinion.....honesty is the best policy. If the company does their due diligence, they will find out anyway. If you do not put this on your form and they do find out, they now know that you are a dishonest person. I would imagine that this employer would be more concerned with current lies and deceit than they would about a minor incident 7 years ago. |

Honesty depicts how reliable you are, in any case it a silly adventurous offense. |
