Right to not come into work?

We've currently got an ant infestation at work. We've spoken to the person in charge of such things and we were under the impression it was being sorted. Found out today nothing has been done so I've hassled them again to get someone in to sort it and have been told that someone will be called out.
So far today (8:00am -3:30pm) I have found at least 10 ants on my desk, and 4 on me (the final straw was the one on my neck). Work is bad enough at the moment with out the hassle of ants crawling over me, and I'm at the end of my teather.
If nothing is sorted by next week I won't be coming in. I was wondering if there are any Working Standards law that would help support my claim.
I don't have crumbs or food round my desk that they're after, I keep it very clean and clear.
FYI, whilst writing this I have found 2 more on my desk. Seriously.

Since you are in the UK, there's no OSHA. However, UK certainly has workplace standards, health department, etc. Get some bug spray during your lunch hour, spray all around your desk, chair, work area, and give the bill to your boss. Tell them to have the ants gone by morning or you have no choice but to report them to health authorities. Follow through. |

Contact OSHA about them little buggers. Or threaten your employer that's what you'll do if they don't solve the issue. Can't they just bug bomb the place after everyone leaves for the night and they'll all be dead by morning? |
