I (with the help of my fiance) will be moving from NY to TX. We have decided that we're going to rent a car because we don't want to put that many miles on his car and I only have to move my clothes and the little stuff that I've bought for our apartment. It would save us a couple of hundred dollars if we rented a car but my fiance INSITS that there is a law that you need to be able to see out of the back of your car.. as in we wouldn't be able to pile stuff to the top. Is that true? Thanks!!

Some places, yes, and some it would be OK if you could see behind you with the side mirrors. It wouldn't be safe, in any case, though.. |
