i know you say you don't want advice so i won't offer any i will just offer you facts,

many employers drug test and almost all that do a pre-employment test will also do random drug test..........THC will show up in a urine screen for 30 days and in hair for months, and the new generation of test can not be tricked, these so called cleaners you can get at head shops and on the Internet are a waste of your money....

Maybe, just dont do drugs and if they ask for a test retake then u will have to be clean the next time.or your screwed.

I am reasonably sure that employers do not share that info among themselves. They will remember you in the future however. I would say it is unlikely that the company that tested you will consider you in the future even if you get off drugs.

Most companies won't disclose the results of drug tests because it would leave them open to legal action. And since you don't have to talk about companies you interviewed with the matter isn't likely to be a problem for you.

For that company you probably wont ever be able to be hired by them ever again. As for it going on your permanent record, well. I doubt it, but anything could happen. Lets say its a pizza place you applied for and you failed it, I highly doubt they would. But even so, you still have to deal with it don't you? Only one way to find out, apply for another job and see what happens. But in all honestly I really doubt it would, unless its some huge company.

Just don't get stoned for a while before any drug tests. If your not at one of those places where they do them randomly... xD

You mess with dope you take your chances! I don't think there is any permanent record unless you are trying to get a government job. Lots of kids getting out of school benefit from people who do dope and get caught.

Take the time to dry out and stay clean for your next test. Being unemployed for a long time may hurt if your schooling says you are a good candidate. Job market is tight right now, you have to decide if having a job is more important than sucking on dope.

Not exactly sure, but most of the time the employer will send you to a laboratory, usually to get a urine sample tested for trace amounts of certain metabolites that generally will be present if you body has metabolized certain chemicals (drugs). The laboratory is a medical facility. You have to sign a consent form and a custody transfer form to grant the laboratory the authority to have and test your urine specimen and to make the test results available to the employer. This is likely governed by HIPAA. With HIPAA I think you have to sign a consent for every party that you want the medical practitioner to make the medical information available. But I am really not sure about legal stuff.

No, there's no 'permanent record'. It doesn't affect your chances for employment somewhere else, but wipes out any chance for this job, or maybe for any future job with that company, they might keep records.

It doesn't really matter what they assume on why you quit.
