Back pay for what?

If you entitled to get paid for all the work you performed at the company. If you are owed money for work performed, you are entitled to it. I am not sure what you mean by "back-pay."

You are not entitled to be paid for untaken sick leave or vacation time. Some companies do pay it out, and some don't - it is up to the company to decide their individual policies.
