I'm Back at Work on Friday?

Well I had my disciplinary meeting on Wednesday 14th July 2010, where I represented myself with no colleague or trade union. It was me against a panel of 3.

I stated my case clearly and calmly, and the Owner of the Care Home and the Manager agreed with me on everything I said.

The owner then stated they needed to write to POVA and the CQC, and would be in touch with myself shortly.

I received a phonecall this morning to say that there was a shift with my name on it, and that my suspension was lifted, and I could return to work.

For once common sense has prevailed, and I feel justice has been served. I told them from the start I was innocent. I truly feel vindicated and am relieved and happy.

Thanks to all those that have supported me throughout this ordeal, and for your valuable input. xx
