Lets say u work 3 and a half hours a day part time. how do they pay you for that half our of work?

lets say u get paid $11.25

for those three hours u would get 11.25 per hour....but since ur not working a full last hour, how does that last half hour work?

For the extra half hour you'd get half of 11.25, or $5.63.

I get $4 for a half hour.

you multiply 11.25 x 3.5.

The last half hour would earn you about $5.63

Around 5.60. You just divide 11.25 by 2. Pretty simple stuff.

At my job, you would get paid half of 11.25--or about $5.63

If you work at a salaried job, you don't get paid by the hour (think of many teaching jobs, for instance, as well as other jobs).
