How can I get one of those background check papers for me to fill out for my job?

I got promoted to shift manager at pizza hut. However, before i can start they have to do a background check on me. I have to fill out some sort of background check paper for it. However, they are taking forever to get the paper, even after I keep nagging them. Is there anyway for me to get it myself so I don't have to wait around?
I already tried getting it from other pizza hut stores, but they said they don't have it, or had some other reason
How can I get the background check paper?

You can go to your local police department and have the check run yourself for a small fee. Ask your supervisor if they will accept that and take the initiative to get it done yourself. Locally, my PD runs the check for about $25.00. |
