Employer not meeting terms of Contract?
I have been in my job for nearly a year now, and I made my employer aware when I started that I would be leaving in Early June, they said that was fine as it means one less employee for quiet winter period. Now that it is getting close to the time of leaving, he has started to cut my hours back significantly, and has said that I should be doing no more than 25 hrs. I am on a full time contract, that says I have to work a minimum of 40 hrs/week. His sole reason for doing this is so He doesn't have to pay out lots of Holiday Pay when I leave. Also, I have noticed that they have paid out some of my leau days, without me asking for them to be paid out! (I have no need for extra money when I am working a 70hr week, so why add another 10hrs?) any advice from employment law experts, or people who have been through similar situations!
